FameandGlory Talent Contest & Entertainment Showcases Information

FameandGlory talent contests and entertainment showcases offer performers unique opportunities to display their talents over the Internet and even at fabulous entertainment venues in and around Hollywood.

How the Contest Works

Fill out the online application/registration form.

Pay the registration fee which is currently $350.00 USD. This fee is used to process your application and prepare the material you send us for internet streaming, a technical process called encoding. At this time, you will also be given an opportunity to post your photos and profile on your very own web page so that talent agents and potential employers can access your information.

Submit your performance to the address noted below. You may submit on DVD, VHS or mini DV with each performance running no longer than five minutes. Please note that the quality of VHS material over the Internet is generally not quite as good as other formats, but we'll do our best for you.

If you wish to pay by check, please make sure it is enclosed with your performance package. Please note your appearance on the contest site will be delayed until your check has cleared.

Once your performance is properly encoded, it will appear on FameandGlory where the public will be allowed to view it and even record their own winner's choice.

Performances will be judged internally (see below) on a monthly basis provided that there are at least twelve performances available for judging.

Your submission must reach us at least 10-days before the contest period begins so that we may properly process your material. If insufficient time is given for this processing, then your performance will be held over for the next month's contest. (For example: If the contest begins on October 1, and your submission reaches us on October 5, you will not be entered into the October contest, but rather the one for November.)
Judging
1. The percentages of votes are equally divided between Internet (the public) and our internal judges.
2. The online portion of judging lasts all month so make sure you announce your participation to friends and family.
3. The votes will be tallied and the final scoring from our internal judges will take place on the last day of each month.
Judges
FameandGlory' internal judges will represent various areas of the entertainment spectrum (filmmakers, actors, journalists, singer/dancer/musician, publicists). Judges' decisions are final and actual scores are not released to contestants or the public.

What You Win
Winners of the contest receive special recognition on the site and a free viewing period. Your performance will appear in the Winners' Circle and stay on the site for a minimum of 12-months at our expense. That's one whole year of free promotion (valued at $600)! Winners who appear at our Hollywood showcase will have their special performances videotaped and streamed. FameandGlory' ongoing promotions of the site, contests and venues afford all contestants the opportunity to be seen by industry professionals.
Even If You Don't Win
Even if you didn't win but we thought you still performed well, we may choose to offer you a limited viewing period of 3 free months. However, if you don't win one of our contests and would like to guarantee that your talent is exhibited over the Internet by remaining posted on the FameandGlory web site, you may pay an additional fee to do so. That fee is currently $50.00 per month for each month beyond the contest period for which you first applied. Please contact us for this option.
